28th Annual Tables of Content Dinner - March 31, 2015
The Friends and guests gathered at the King & Prince Resort on March 31st for the annual Tables of Content Dinner. First order of business was to bid on the fabulous selection of silent auction gifts, and to try our luck on the "Arm & a Leg" raffle items. Then we moved in to the glorious oceanfront Delegal Room for dinner. Friends Treasurer Joe Shinnick presented a check for $15,000 to Lori Hull, Brunswick Library Manager, for the purchase of new materials for the library. Steve Croft introduced guest author Charles Martin, who talked about his new book, “Water from My Heart”. At the end of the evening, everyone appeared to have been inspired and well fed, and the Friends of the Library raised over $4200.00!
Many thanks to the hard working team of volunteers who made the evening such a success, including Chris and Denise Emmer, Margie Young, Joe Shinnick, Gigi Stratton, Steve Oldaker, and Steve Croft.
